Remind Me

Remind me to feel the waves
And wash away the tears
Remind me to wait till the stars shine
And I start believing
Remind me to look for the rainbow
And forget the rain
Remind me to watch the sun rise
And know that there is still hope
Remind me to face the mountain
And be able to climb it
Remind me that nothing will happen today
That you and I can’t handle together

My last post just reminded me, this is like the first serious poem i ever wrote. It was the start of my whole poem career haha.

Teddy Bear

news for today: I’m sick!

caught a cold last night from i don’t know where and decided to take the day off work today.

So now I’ve got all the time in the world to put up some new posts.

First of all here’s a first taste of my poems.

My Teddy Bear
When I ASKED for something to hold,
God GAVE me a teddy bear,
That would hug me back.
When I LOST all my strength,
My teddy bear didn’t give me strength,
It FOUND the strength already in me.
When I LEFT my strength and cried,
He STAYED without a word,
Just to wipe my tears.
When I COULDN’T SEE the good in me,
He SAW through me,
And told me I was exceptional.
When I couldn’t do anymore but SIGH,
He knew exactly what to do,
To make me SMILE through my tears.
And now…..
When my teddy bear ASKS,
I will GIVE.
When he LOSES some,
I will help him FIND all.
When everything LEAVES him,
I will STAY close.
When he CAN’T SEE anything but the bad,
I will SEE the beauty in him.
When he SIGHS even once,
I will help him SMILE a hundred times.
Because he is My Teddy Bear.

Hope you guys enjoyed that.

This poem is about my friend who I call teddy bear all the time and he calls me penguin lol. long story. but yeah our friendship is summed up in that one poem really.
